Student United Way's mission is to be a service group that will serve the local community by:

1) Educating our members, other student organizations, and the student body about the United Way of the Quad Cities Area and its benefiting agencies.

2) Raising funds for education, income, and health service initiatives in Scott and Rock Island County.

3) Working together with student organizations to lead similar fundraising efforts.

Committed to leadership through service and teamwork, The Student United Way hopes to increase student involvement in the betterment of our Scott and Rock Island County communities.

The goals of Student United Way will be to:

1) Work in partnership with and continue the mission of United Way of the Quad Cities Area to Give, Advocate, and Volunteer.

2) Recognize student efforts by providing incentive events for students to celebrate giving their time, talent, and energy.

3) Accumulate 10,000 hours of service from our local high school and college students.

4) Bridge the gap between young adults and the Quad Cities.
