OUR MISSION

United Way Success By 6 is committed to ensuring the success of our children - one of four community priorities where United Way is focusing its efforts. United Way's Success by 6 has been leading this effort with a mission to ensure that, by age six, all children in the Quad Cities area receive the care and nurturing they need to succeed in school and beyond by following these ABC's:

	Create Awareness throughout the community of the importance of maximizing early childhood development
	Providing Better access to relevant services
	Collaborating in the community around what matters to our Quad Cities children.

Success by 6 is leading the Born Learning campaign in our local area via media partners and local agencies. The Born Learning campaign's mission is to demonstrate to parents how simple interactions with your child can attribute to their success and development. United Way Success By 6 encourages parents, caregivers of young children, and early childhood educators and professionals to embrace The 40 Developmental Assets as a way to build healthy thriving children and youth.  Developmental assets are key building blocks and nutrients every infant, toddler, preschooler, and school-age child needs to succeed in life.
