The Day of Caring is a community-wide day of hands-on volunteering in which United Way connects volunteers - businesses, corporations, union groups, donors - with local non-profit organizations to work on various projects that would not otherwise be completed.

Fresh Start Sale
The Fresh Start Sale is held at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport IA, August 17-20.
Discover gently used items including kitchenware, jewelry, bedding, linens, toys, tools, appliances, furniture, and much more while helping the Humility of Mary Housing program give families a fresh start in life.
August 17: 6 PM-8:30 PM. [Admission $8, Aug. 17 only.]
August 18-19: 8 AM-5 PM. Admission Free.

August 20: 8 AM-12 PM. Admission Free.
