Achieve Quad Cities

Every school day, 3 Quad-City students drop out.

Achieve Quad Cities is changing this statistic by increasing graduation rates and reducing drop-out rates.

The Challenge
A high school diploma is a milestone of accomplishment. Youth who fail to receive a diploma enter the workforce without the necessary skills and developmental growth. This affects their future and the future of our community.

The Solution
Achieve is a broad regional partnership encouraging career exploration for at-risk middle and high school students. By learning about possible careers, students will feel more engaged and realize the important of graduating.

The Program
In 2010, we are launching eight pilot sites to support and improve the scope of existing school programs. At the sites, Achieve will run six initiatives to help students start career exploration. Click here for more details.
