2010 Student Campaign

Right here, right now there are people in our community in need of food, shelter, counseling services and day care services. Inspire your students to make a difference by giving, Advocating and Volunteering during the 2010 Student Campaign.


STUDENT CAMPAIGN EVENTS
Youth Day of Caring and Student Campaign Kickoff - January 27
The Youth Day of Caring is a one-day event designed to engage youth in creative, meaningful volunteer opportunities. Advisors choose from a variety of volunteer opportunities scheduled from 8:30am to 11:30am. Following the volunteer activities the Student Campaign Kickoff will be held at the Pepsico Center. Food, fun and entertainment will be provided.

United Way Collection Drive - Week of January 27
As a part of the 2010 Student Campaign, students will be given the option to coordinate a supply drive at their school the week of January 27. Several drive options will be available including hygiene drives, items for children & youth and clothing.

United Way Student Campaign - January 27 - February 26
The Student Campaign is designed to get students engaged in philanthropic activities and educates them about the most pressing needs of our community. Through the campaign, youth will be challenged to plan, organize and implement fundraising activities benefiting United Way and our funded agencies.

Battle of the Bands - March 6
Students participating in this year's campaign will be invited to a Battle of the Bands contest and celebration wrap-up party. This event will spotlight talented local teens and celebrate the difference students made during the campaign.
