United Way
Foundation Giving

The United Way Foundation gives individuals, and families just like yours, the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy right here at home. In recent years, the United Way Foundation has:

  • Awarded scholarships to students who demonstrate outstanding community involvement.
  • Provided support for Quad City Area women to build a Habitat for Humanity home.
  • Built a wheel-chair ramp and supported projects during United Way's Day of Caring.
    • Promoted the 40 Developmental Assets by supporting the Student Food Drive.
    • Put books in the hands of children through the Imagination Library and Pohlmann Program for Young Readers.
    • Helped install interactive Born Learning Trails in Lindsey, Marquette and Fejervary Parks.

Whether you're already a contributor to United Way, or someone looking to make a long-term impact in the health and well-being of our community, the United Way Foundation ensures that your gift - no matter what size - will meet the changing needs of our community for generations to come.

United Way will work with you to make it easy. Just complete the form below for a no-obligation, information kit on how to make a planned gift to the United Way Foundation. You can also call Rick Widdel at United Way, or e-mail him at rwiddel@unitedwayqc.org with any questions.
